Born in Banyuwangi, Andre graduated from the Faculty of Biology at Udayana University in Bali, He is currently finishing his Masters degree at the same University. His fields of expertise include community development, reef surveys and monitoring. Andre holds an Advance Diving certificate from ADS.

Gayatri is the founder of Yayasan LINI. She is a pioneer in marine conservation and sustainable fisheries work in Indonesia, with a long history of working with various International and local organizations, and with the Indonesian government. She has travelled widely, is a keen SCUBA diver, and is also one of the very few Indonesian coral specialists.

Putu Widyastuti is  Balinese, born in Makassar in South Sulawesi. She holds aMasters degree in Environmental Science from the University of Indonesia . She is a qualified Master Scuba Diver with POSSI certification. Putu is LINI's Project Manager, with expertise in fisheries data management for coral reef fisheries. She is also responsible for managing LINI’s website. Prior to joining LINI, Putu worked for the Marine Aquarium Council Indonesia Program, WWF Indonesia and also COREMAP I.

Yul is one of the very few experienced Indonesian fisheries scientists, specializing in reef monitoring, fish identification and reef survey methodologies. Born in West Sumatra, he graduated from the Fisheries Faculty of Bung Hatta University in Padang . He is now finishing his Masters Degree in Udayana University, Denpasar. Yunaldi has a long history of working with Indonesian NGOs and he holds a Diving Instructor certificate from ADS International

Ngurah is responsible for finance and administration in LINI. He was born in  Klungkung, Bali, and graduated from the Faculty of Accountancy in STIE YKPN Yogyakarta. Before LINI, he worked for various Banks, Hoteliers and Restaurants in Bali. Besides organizing finance and administration for the organization, Ngurah, who holds an open water dive certificate, also conducts basic business and household finance training sessions for fishermen's groups and women's groups.

Made is a professional marine ornamental fish collector, based in North Bali . He has been one of LINI’s key trainers SINCE 2006 and has trained over 200 fellow collectors in the use of non-destructive fishing techniques throughout the Indonesian archipelago.  Made is also a keen diver and assists LINI’s scientists in conducting fish surveys and monitoring.

Nengah comes from the same Balinese village as Made Partiana. He used to be a marine ornamental fishermen's group leader in Les village. Nengah is LINI’s Banggai field coordinator, and is currently based in Bone baru on Banggai Island . Nengah is assisting the fishermen's groups in the Banggai Archipelago to develop a fisheries management plan, and establish No-take zones. Nengah's work is important in helping to create a responsible sustainable marine aquarium trade for the Banggai cardinalfish and other trade species..

Ron is originally from the UK, and now lives in Bali. He has travelled extensively throughout Indonesia, and has worked with a number of conservation NGOs..He assists LINI in proposal writing, proofreading and the production of publications, articles and papers in English for the media and specialist magazines. He also helps in developing outreach materials for the public, schools and volunteers,and  gives presentations for LINI  to the public. Ron has a Masters degreee in Conservation Biology, and is also a keen photographer of reptiles and invertebrates.
