LINI'S TRAININGS
LINI provides tailored training programs to cater for wide range of participants, such as schools, governments, marine aquarium collectors, suppliers, exporters and non-government organisations. Trainers with extensive experience in training towards certification, and in teaching of all training modules, are available for hire. After conducting a needs assessment for all potential trainees, a training schedule is drawn up to suit the needs of each individual client.
1. Coral Reef Management Training Package (Decission Makers, Policy Makers)
Training’s Items:
- The Management of Coral Reef Ecosystem and Marine Resource for Sustainable Use,
- Introduction to fishery management tools using Total Allowable Catch and fishery data analysis
- Survey and monitoring technique for condition of coral reef and fishery,
- A comprehension of principle of sustainable fishery
Expected Output:
- Participants know and understand of the roles and values of coral reef ecosystem,
- Participants able to identify number of threats to coral reefs,
- Participants understand and perceive the concept of TAC,
- Participants skilled to inputting, analyze and make report base on catch data,
- Participants skilled and understand the process to set up fishery management plan both for fishery in general or ornamental fishery
Duration: 5 days
2. Coral Rehabilitation Training Package
Training’s Items:
- Coral Reef Ecosystem, the roles and threats
- Coral Rehabilitation,
- Coral Reef and Fish Monitoring Tehcnique,
Expected Output:
- Participants know and understand of the roles and values of coral reef ecosystem,
- Participants able to identify number of threats to coral reefs
- Participants identify number of reef rehabilitation methods, including coral transplantation and build artificial substrates,
- Participants are capable to conduct coral and fish monitoring
Duration: 3-5 days
3. Coral Reef Education Package for School
Trainings Items:
- Introduction to coral reef ecosystem and organisms,
- Introduction to the threats on coral reef,
- Introduction on how to keep the reef healthy and rehab the damage reef
Expected Output:
- Students learned about type of habitats of coral reef,
- Students can name the functions of coral reef for human and the threats
Duration: 1 day
4. Fishermen Training Package
Training’s Items:
- Introduction to coral reef ecosystem, its values and threats,
- Introduction to non destructive techniques,
- Introduction to post harvest handling techniques,
- Introduction to safety dive,
- Introduction to basic business management and responsible trade
Expected Output:
- Fishermen recognize the importance of coral reef protection,
- Fishermen understand and be able to assemble non destructive gear,
- Fishermen understand and can perform post harvest handling technique,
- Fishermen implemented best practices for their collecting activities (i.e. using non destructive techniques, not walking on the top of the corals, not anchoring on coral area, etc)

5. Supplier Training Package
Training’s Items:
- The Management of Coral Reef Ecosystem and Marine Resource for Sustainable Use,
- Introduction to fishery management tools using Total Allowable Catch and fishery data analysis,
- Introduction to survei and monitoring technique for condition of coral reef and fishery,
- Introduction of non destructive collection techniques,
- A comprehension of principle of sustainable fishery
- Introduction to post harvest handling techniques,
- Introduction and understanding of safety dive,
- Basic introduction of business management and responsible trade
Expected Output:
- Suppliers know and understand of the roles and values of coral reef ecosystem,
- Suppliers know and understand the importance to implemented management on coral reef and fishery resource to ensure the sustainability use
