Volunteers Program

The aim of the LINI volunteer program is to share opportunity for Indonesian people to participate and share their skills with us.  In return, the volunteers will gain experience in working with local communities.  In the process, there will be opportunities to exchange knowledge between the LINI staff members and the volunteers.
Who can participate as a volunteer?

All Indonesian citizens can be volunteers, whether they are regular students, internship students, research students or interested members of the public.

10. Other fields and disciplines

Locations of volunteer placements

  1. The LINI Foundation’s office is in Denpasar, so if the scope of the volunteer work is related to data and information, office administration and computer/multimedia, the volunteer will be based in the LINI office.
  2. North Bali, if the volunteer’s work is related to Marine Biology, Fisheries, Socio- Economics, teaching, etc.  Note: there is a possibility for office volunteers to also visit North Bali as part of their experience.

How?

  2. In the letter, please highlight your field of interest, and write an outline about what you would like to do as a volunteer, and for how long.(please suggested time period)
  3. Students should enclose a letter of support from their lecturer (Head of School or Dean),
  4. At the end of each placement, each volunteer will be asked to write a short report about their activities and experiences, and give some input or action plan for the next volunteers, and for potential follow-up activities.
